City of Alma awarded a Grant through Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
Nebraska Department of Economic Development awarded the City of Alma $990,000 through the Rural Community Recovery Program. Nebraska Legislature authorized this one-time program through LB-1412 in 2023. Funds were awarded to applicants with projects located in communities impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. These awards support the rehabilitation and revitalization of public spaces. The City of Alma has used this funding to revialize the City Auditorium. Stay tuned for the Grand Reopening as the project is almost complete, and we welcome everyone to come and see what has been acomplished. You will be amazed !
