Gary Wheeler the coordinator of this event informed us that the he
anticipates the Wall to be near completion sometime in May 2009. The
granite should be arriving by the end of the month and will then be taken to
Palmer Brothers for engraving.
The wall will display up to 500 names. Each space will display information pertinent to the individual that
served and will be permanently cut into the stone. The cost per
listing has been set at $150.00 and will consist of 17 characters per line,
two lines only. You will be eligible to be listed on the wall if you
have served in any branch of the service and call Harlan County Nebraska,
home. Branches of service include: Army; Navy; Air Force;
Marines; Coast Guard; and Merchant Marines.
